We greatly appreciate your interest!

We are a team of researchers from Sigmund Freud University, Vienna, Austria. In our project on alexinomia lead by Ass. Prof. Dr. Thomas Ditye we are currently developing a questionnaire for those who might be affected by problems with using first names. It is important for us to acquire data from individuals who think they might be affected as well as individuals who think they are not. Thus we would like to ask you to fill in the questionnaire either way. The first part of the questionnaire is mandatory, the second part is optional.

It will only take 12-15 minutes to fill in the manadatory part of the questionnaire, and the optional part extends the time with 10 minutes.

Consent Form

By filling in the questionnaire the participant states that they were informed about the nature of our inquiry, their participation happens willingly, and consent is given that the data provided through the questionnaire can be processed for research conducted by the Alexinomia Research Team at the Sigmund Freud University, Vienna.

The participant is informed that there is no wrong or correct answer to the questions, and the participant has the right to withdraw from the research at any time. Furthermore, the participant has the right to ask questions or make comments, as well as be informed about the findings of the research if requested.

Participation is anonymous and all collected data will be treated confidential in accordance with the ethical principals for research involving human subjects outlined in the Declaration of Helsiniki 2013.
