Acceptance of sex robots in sex therapy
Welcome to the scientific study on the subject of sex robotics!
This study will be carried out by the Sigmund Freud Private University of Vienna under the supervision of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christiane Eichenberg, head of the Institute for psychosomatics.
The aim of the study is to investigate UK’s sex therapists’ and specialists’ attitudes towards sex robots in sexual medicine. To fulfill this goal, we exclusively like to question psychologists, psychiatrists, psychotherapists or physicians focusing their work on sexual therapy or sexual medicine in the United Kingdom.
Please answer the questions truthfully. In the first part of the survey, you will be questioned about your personal assessment of sex robotic, followed by the questions about your professional opinion on the possible therapeutic potential of sex robots.
In the second half, we would like to know more about your previous experiences with new technologies. In the third and final part, you will receive a series of short statements which we ask you to rank individually on how well they apply to you personally.
This survey will only take about 15 minutes of your time!
All information that you provide will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. The protection of data privacy will be strictly adhered and the responses given will be evaluated anonymously. Therefore, collected data cannot be connected to the respondents. The processing and use of data is carried out in a strictly anonymous manner at the Sigmund Freud Privat University of Vienna by the persons mentioned bellow.
If you are interested in the findings and results of this study, you can add your mail address at the end of the survey, which will be processed separately from your answers.
Thank you for your participation in this survey. It helps the scientific investigation in this new field of science based on empiric data.
