INFORMATION ON THE STUDY
Dear Participant,
We would like to invite you to participate in an exploratory study titled "An exploratory study of implicit models of the world in psychotherapy practice" conducted by Dr Gabor Aranyi and Paul Rach, B.A. This research project aims to investigate the metaphysical position of therapists to better understand their general world view, beliefs, and practices, and how these may influence their approach to therapeutic work and process.
Your participation in this study is voluntary, and you may choose to withdraw at any time. By participating in this study, you will contribute to the understanding of the cultural and intellectual background of psychotherapy practice, and gain a deeper understanding of your own values, biases, and assumptions, which can enhance your ability to provide effective and empathetic therapy to your clients. Participation in research can also be a valuable form of professional development.
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete an online questionnaire that will take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. The questionnaire will include questions related to your demographic information, therapeutic orientation, and beliefs and practices.
Please note that all information collected during this study will be kept confidential, and your personal identifying information will not be disclosed in any reports or publications. Only the researchers conducting the study will have access to the data collected, and all data will be stored securely.
If you have any questions or concerns about the study, please do not hesitate to contact us using the email addresses provided below. Thank you for your time and consideration.
If you click on "Next", you will first be taken to the information on data processing, then to the participant consent form. After you have agreed to this, you will be transferred to the questionnaire.
Sincerely,
Dr Gabor Aranyi, PhD, MA (gabor.aranyi@sfu.ac.at)
Paul Rach, B.A. (paul.rach@sfu.ac.at)
